We expanded the footprint of the new iron floors
to spread the load of the keel bolts. |

FILLING
OLD KEEL NOTCHES
The original wood keel was taken back to good wood
and filled in between the new frames where old notches
had been cut for the many sister frames that had
been put in over the years. |
