INTERIOR NEW FRAMES
All the gray primed frames are new.
PINE ON FORKLIFT
The yellow pine for the planking arrives.
SNOWY PLANKING
It is a good thing TRUE LOVE is in a shed.
CUTTING PLANKING
The crew starts to cut and scarf planking in preparation for installation.
FIRST NEW PLANK
Finally the first new plank goes on.
2 NEW PLANKS
Things take shape as more planks go on.
SHAPING NEW PLANK
A new plank gets shaped in the shop.
NEW STEM & 1ST PLANK FASTENED
The 1st plank fitted to the new stem.
RE-DRIFTING STERN POST
New bronze rods are driven into the sternpost.
DECK BEAM CAMBER
The first of the deck beams are cut.
NEW BILGE STRINGER
Because of all the frame sisters over the years the bilge stringer looked like swiss cheese and gets renewed.
HOISTING DECK BEAMS
A pre-fabricated section of the deck beams and mast partners forward gets hoisted into place.
NEW TRANSOM FRAMING
New transom framing, when we took off the old plywood transom the whole framonf assembly fell to the floor in a pile of rotten wood.
INTERIOR
The interior is looking better.
DECK AFT
Everything gray is new, the old cockpit is still in place.
DECK FROM BOW
Looking aft from the bow at the end of March.
